Animal ultrasound probes combined with ultrasound output stimulators can be used for animal neuroscience research. By adjusting the ultrasound stimulation parameters, the low-intensity ultrasound pulses output by the ultrasound probe can generate local thermal or mechanical effects in the animal brain, thereby stimulating or inhibiting the activity of specific neurons or neural circuits, and further studying their mechanisms of action in behavior, cognition, memory, and emotion.
